Full-Time Nannies
Full time nannies are childcare professionals who assist parents with the day-to-day work of caring and raising children.
They prepare meals, dress and bathe the children, arrange playdates, accompany children to activities, and help with schoolwork. Full time nannies work at least 40 hours a week, are salaried, and have guaranteed hours.
Part-Time Nannies
Part time nannies have the same responsibilities as full time nannies but usually work less than 35 hours a week. Their duties focus mainly on the care of the children, transporting to and from activities, meal preparation, and laundry.
They prepare meals, dress and bathe the children, arrange playdates, accompany children to activities, and help with schoolwork. Full time nannies work at least 40 hours a week, are salaried, and have guaranteed hours.
Newborn Care Specialists
A Newborn Care Specialist (NCS), also formerly known as a baby nurse, is a highly skilled person who focuses on newborn care for the first few weeks or months of life.
They help parents set up an individualized eating and sleeping routine that works best for the baby and family. Many NCS are skilled in working with multiples, premature babies and special needs such as acid reflux.
Travel Nannies
Travel nannies travel with or meet families at their vacation to provide care. They are experts at researching local child friendly activities, coming up with creative ideas to keep children entertained during flights or long car rides and having the ultimate flexibility so that everyone has an enjoyable vacation.
Travel nannies will have experience traveling independently or with children and many speak more than one language
Family Assistant
Family assistants work for families with children who require more than just childcare. FA’s are the parents’ personal assistants and the children’s nanny.
They help out the parents in managing the home by doing whatever the parents need assistance with, including coordinating the family schedule, overseeing vendors, and other tasks beyond the scope of normal nanny duties.
